Christine is a multi layered photographer and mixed media artist.  She is a people person.  The uncovering and revealing of our inner sides define her work.

Christine has worked for many years as a portrait/society and wedding photographer in Dublin, Sydney and London.  Since moving to Totnes she has developed her photographic services and is now able to offer clients her individual style in Portraits and Jane Austen Costume makeovers.  Christine likes to offer people the chance to transform in front of the camera and is always looking to snap that hidden moment.

Art: Chriistine will be performing several of her shows through the year, this will include a performance evening called ' The Seven Stages of Woman' at Bogan House in Totnes, and with Act South West in July in an adapted version of 'The Seventh Seal'.  Also this year for all the 'English Eccentrics' fans there will be a Vintage Tea event in Totnes on May 15th @ Greys Dining Rooms and there will be an English Eccentrics performance dinner in Agattha Christie's dining room at Greenaway House in August.   Christine's art works are all available to view by appointment.

Portraits: You can be photographed in the comfort of your home, on location or in Christine’s studio/home.  Her style is informal and fun and the aim is to get you to relax so she can catch you in your best light.  Her relaxed yet efficient style enables her to capture that stunning ‘picture’ you have always wanted.

Jane Austen Costumes: Christine was inspired whilst living in Bath to combine her love of antique clothes and all things ‘period’ by working with and transforming people in Regency makeovers.  This fun experience allows all those costume and Jane Austen enthusiasts to jump back in time and indulge in their own costume drama.

Christine Sweetman Photography will no longer be covering Weddings.  Thank you to all my clients who allowed me share their experience. However we would be delighted to offer pre Wedding portraits.  It is a lovely way to catch some special moments before your big day.  I am also working with a wonderful practioner Dr James Willis from www.jameswillisfaces.co.uk He can offer tooth whitening, beauty treatments with Botox and fillers and an in depth free consultation.
